Libya War Risk Insurance

Due to recent events in Libya, airstrike to Commercial Ship etc., the majority of EWRI Underwriters have stopped covering Libya.

The remaining Underwriters who are covering Libya trade, have proceeded to impose enormous increase on their quoted Premiums.

Therefore, in order to sustain our normal operation, Cosco Container Lines announce a new surcharge of WRI (War Risk Insurance) to cover the additional insurance costs imposed by Underwriters.

The amount of WRI is USD 100.00 per TEU for all General Cargo to Lybia with immediate effect.

Thank you for your continued support.
